R&B singer Christopher Williams was arrested at a Kohls department store in McDonough, Georgia on Saturday. Williams was arrested when he slipped a pair of $99 JBL headphones into his tote bag and then attempted to walk out of the store. When stopped by security, Williams said that he’d simply forgotten to bag them. Security wasn’t trying to hear it though. They’d already called the cops. The police arrested Williams on charges of petty theft. He was booked and released a couple of hours later. Williams is best known for his song “If I’m dreamin” off the New Jack City soundtrack. And also the pretty boy Kareem Akbar who took a sword through the hand from Nino Brown in the movie New Jack City.
