Actor Shia LaBeouf has been sentenced to probation and anger management related to a drunkenness arrest back in June. LaBeouf was sentenced in Savannah Georgia on Thursday after pleading guilty to obstruction, and no contest to disorderly conduct. TMZ (@tmz) reports the original drunkenness charge was tossed out.
LaBeouf was arrested in Georgia while he was there filming the movie “The Peanut Butter Falcon.” The Los Angeles Times(@latimes) reports that before he was arrested, LaBeouf asked a bystander and a police officer for a cigarette at around 4am. After he was refused, LaBeouf began using profanity and vulgar language, and refused to leave the area. The police officer on the scene reported that LaBeouf acted aggressively toward him when he was ordered to leave. Lebeouf fled to a hotel when the officer attempted to arrest him. He was taken into custody a little later on inside of the hotel lobby.
