Adam Venit, the longtime head of WME motion picture group, is on leave from the agency after it looks into allegations that he was the person actor Terry Crews was speaking about in his claims that he was sexually harassed by a Hollywood Exec,
Terry Crews wrote a series of Tweets on October 10, claiming that he was groped last year at a Hollywood function by a high-level Hollywood Executive. Variety (@Variety) reports, Crews has told unnamed sources that he had been planning to out Venit as the unnamed executive that groped him. Details about the incident remain sketchy. It’s still unclear if Venit’s alleged intent was overtly sexual or if it was “aggressive horseplay” that crossed the line. Crews said the groping happened in full view of his wife.
Venit represents a long list of clients that include Dustin Hoffman and Brett Ratner, both of whom have been accused of sexual harassment over the past week.
