Mariah Carey’s former security company has threatened to sue her. Michael Anello, the owner of the security firm claims he was constantly humiliated by Carey. Anello says Carey called him a Nazi, Skinhead, KKK member, and a white supremacist.
TMZ (@tmz) reports, Anello’s lawyer has prepared a draft of a lawsuit, claiming his company worked for Carey from June 2015 to May 2017 and is owed an unpaid balance of $221,329.51 from the singer. The claim also said Anello was promised an additional 2-year contract by Carey worth an estimated $511,000. He wants that too.
Anello says Carey humiliated him and his colleague by referring to them as members of the hate groups. Anello also claims that “Mariah wanted to be surrounded by black guys, not white people.” The lawsuit also has a sexual harassment claim in which Anello alleges that Carey committed “sexual acts with the intent that they be viewed by Anello.” The claim is that, during a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mariah asked Anello to come to her room to move some luggage. When he got there, she was wearing a see-through negligee that was wide open. Anello claims that he tried to leave the room, but Carey insisted that he move the luggage. Anello says, after he moved the luggage, he left the room. No physical contact was made.
Carey’s people confirmed to TMZ that they were in touch with Anello’s lawyer regarding the outstanding balance for security work for Carey done by Anello’s company. However, they had no information about the sexual harassment allegation.
