The “go to” claim of every Trump supporter when things have started to look bleak for the administration, has been Hilary-Uranium, or Hilary-emails. After long investigations, both have turned out to be little more than conspiracy theories, just like the idea that Hilary Clinton was holding children hostage in the basement of a pizza shop in D.C A.K.A “Pizzagate.” It has been Trump supporters only solace in an administration that has done absolutely nothing for its supporters. Somehow, they’ve twisted their thinking into believing “if we can somehow get something on Hilary, Trump will be vindicated of these Russian collusion claims.” Don’t know exactly how this train of thought works logically, being as though one has absolutely nothing to do with the other, but here we are.
NBC News (@NBCNews) reports, on the orders of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Justice Department prosecutors have begun asking FBI agents to explain the evidence they found in a now dormant criminal investigation into a controversial uranium deal that critics have linked to Bill and Hilary Clinton.
The interviews with FBI agents are part of the Justice Departments’ effort to fulfill a promise an assistant attorney general made to Congress last month to examine whether a special counsel was warranted to look into what has become known as the Uranium One deal, a senior justice department official said.
Just as a refresher, here is a clip of a believer’s version of what the Uranium One deal entailed, and MSNBC’s Joy Anne Reid expertly debunking the theory.
