I don’t know if someone in the Trump administration pissed Steve Bannon off, or if this is some type of weird strategy, but I do know that Bannon has been nothing but bad news for this administration from the moment he left the White House. When Bannon was fired from his White House position, he promised to keep working for Team Trump from the outside. Bannon said he could work better from the outside anyway. He claimed that he wasn’t sour about being terminated. Either that was an outright lie, or Bannon has the strangest strategy I’ve ever seen. He’s been nothing but a thorn in the side of the Trump Administration since his termination. An interview he gave to Michael Wolff for his book “Fire and Fury” is Bannon’s latest attack on the president and the president’s men…..and women.

CNN (@cnn) reports, Former White House Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon, called the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Trump campaign officials and a Russian lawyer offering information about Hilary Clinton “treasonous”, according to a new book obtained by The Guardian.

The book “Fire And Fury” by Michael Wolff, is based on hundreds of interviews, including ones with Donald Trump and members of his inner circle. According to The Guardian, Bannon told Wolff that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s potential ties to Russia is centered on money laundering.

Referring to the June 2016 meeting between Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner, and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, Bannon reportedly told Wolff “They’re going to crack Don Jr. like an egg on national t.v.”

“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor………with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers. Even if you thought this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad sh*t, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”
