“Release The Memo” has been the rallying cry for a majority of Republicans, Fox News Pundits, and many so called Conservatives over the past couple of weeks. The memo in question, is a memo reported to be drafted by staffers of Chairman Of The House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes (R) CA. Nunes and staffers reportedly found corrupt deeds and evidence of favoritism and the FBI along with evidence of a conspiracy to take down Donald Trump. The Nunes memo is not an official FBI document. The memo is a document drafted by Nunes’ staffers which accuse the FBI and other intel and law enforcement agencies of taking part in a cover up/conspiracy to keep Donald Trump out of the White House…..allegedly. I say allegedly because the memo has not been released to the public as of yet. The memo also allegedly says that the FBI’s investigation into Donald Trump and his campaign is illegal because of these facts. The memo has been what the pro-Trump faction has been using for their reason for wanting Robert Mueller fired, and somehow Hilary Clinton locked up. All of this, without anyone having read the memo yet….not even Devin Nunes himself, who admitted this much when tracked down by a reporter yesterday. If just the thought of a memo being out there causes this much commotion without it even have been read by anyone, can you imagine the effect the memo will have if it’s full of conspiracy theories and false accusations when people actually do have the opportunity to read it? Yeah, you can probably now see why the FBI is concerned with a conspiracy theory like this one being released to the public. Pro Trump people are using this memo as their version of The War Of The Worlds radio broadcast…..and no one has even read the memo yet, or has even stopped to take a second to realize that the memo is an opinion piece. An opinion piece drafted at the behest of a man who is likely under federal investigation by the same agency he is releasing conspiracy theories about.

NBC News (@nbcnews) reports, A memo by House Republicans about the Trump-Russia investigation is inaccurate and misleading, the FBI said in an un usual statement Wednesday, hours after President Donald Trump assured a lawmaker he planned to allow the document to become public.

“We have grave concerns about the material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.” the FBI said.

The memo supposedly details how a FISA warrant that led to Trump associate Carter Page was obtained under illegal circumstances. Page has reportedly been under FBI surveillance for years. Going back to a shady deal with a Russian spy who was arrested for attempting to buy American secrets. The memo argues that the reason the FISA warrant on Page was requested was based on information contained in a dossier created by a British spy and intelligence agent who was collecting evidence about Donald Trump and him possibly being framed by Russia. A dossier that Republicans claimed was funded by Democrats, but had that theory quickly shot down. The dossier was actually originally funded by Republicans looking for dirt on Donald Trump during the 2016 Republican primaries. The same Republicans that are pro-Trump and claim to be Trump’s biggest supporters and friends today. Those are the people who were looking for dirt on Trump in 2016. The dossier was nicknamed the Steele dossier after the British spy that drafted it, Christopher Steele. Republicans have argued that the Steele dossier is full of false and inaccurate information, even though the Steele dossier has never been found to contain any lies. There have been things in the dossier that Republicans could not find any evidence of, but there has yet to be anything in the dossier that has been proven to be an outright lie. Even the pee-pee tapes.
