BET MIGHT HAVE A HIT ON THEIR HANDS WITH NEW SHOW “IN CONTEMPT” (VIDEO)

I don’t really like to judge shows by just one episode, you know how things can quickly change. Some shows start off slow before they pick up the pace and get better. Some shows start of looking like they’re going to be good, then end up turning disappointingly terrible. On some shows the actors take awhile before they gel. On other shows, the actors never gel. Plus, I was a person that tried to watch the first episode of Game Of Thrones about twenty times. I always got bored and never watched the first episode all the way through, but when I finally did watch the whole episode, I was glad that I did, because Game Of Thrones turned out to be one of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen. With all of that said, I am a person that understands that you can’t judge a show by one single episode, or even one season for that matter. But, I must admit, after watching the first episode of BET’s new legal drama In Contempt last night, I can’t help but to be excited about what the future may hold for this show. AND B.E.T BETTER NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT CANCELLING IT EITHER! I WILL BE THE FIRST PERSON YELLING BOYCOTT B.E.T AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS! Anyway, the show is really good. There’s something about the show that pulls you in right away. For me, I think it was the fact that the main characters are public defenders, and the show walks you directly into the belly of America’s unfair justice system. Especially how poor people are treated as numbers and not human beings in America’s justice system. The actors in the show are also really good. Even from just episode one, you can see that there is some high drama building up on this show. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but if you get a chance, this is definitely one of those shows that you should check out. “IN CONTEMPT” stars Erica Ash(Survivor’s Remorse), Christian Keyes(Saints And Sinners), Mouna Traore’, and Megan Hutchings. The show airs Tuesday nights on BET at 10p/9c
