PHILADELPHIA, PA
Starbucks has issued a very dry apology to two men after an employee in one of their Philadelphia shops allegedly called police on two black men for no reason and had the men arrested. The incident happened Thursday at the Starbucks location at 18th & Spruce Streets. In the video you can hear bewildered customers asking “what did they do?” And also trying to tell the police that “they didn’t do anything.” Witnesses say the men were waiting for a friend to arrive when the Philadelphia Police came in and made the arrest. Through their Twitter account, Philadelphia Police said they are aware of the incident and that the entire incident, including the actions of the officers involved were under internal investigation.
