The brother of Sacramento Kings power forward Zach Randolph, was shot and killed outside of a bar in Indiana last night.
The Associated Press (@AP) reports, an officer in the area heard gunfire in the area at around 5am. When he arrived at the scene he found Roger Randolph on the ground bleeding as he lay between two cars parked outside of the Hop’s Blues Room in Marion, Indiana.
Police say they don’t know the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting, but don’t think it was a random attack. Cops believe Randolph was targeted or maybe even knew his murderer.
Zach Randolph grew up in Marion and was a standout player at Marion High School. Randolph headed off to Michigan to attend college before being drafted by the Portland Trailblazers in 2001. Zach Randolph has played with five NBA teams (Portland Trailbazers, New York Knicks, LA Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, and Sacramento Kings) in his 17-year career in the league.
