NEW ORLEANS PELICANS BIG WINNERS IN 2019 NBA DRAFT LOTTERY

CHICAGO, IL

The NBA draft lottery took place Tuesday night before the start of game-1 of the Western Conference Finals. The NBA draft lottery could’ve easily been renamed the Zion Williamson lottery, as that was the grand prize every team was hoping to take home. The New Orleans Pelicans won the grand prize last night. I’m not a Knicks fan, but I was actually hoping Zion ended up in NY. With Anthony Davis still asking for a trade, I would rather have seen Zion in a big market city. If the Pelicans find a way to get AD to stay in New Orleans, then I can get excited about Zion heading there. AD, Zion, Jrue Holiday, with guys like Julius Randle thrown into the mix would be pretty exciting to see. Anyway, here’s the order for the top 10 picks in this years’ NBA draft:

  1. New Orleans Pelicans
  2. Memphis Grizzlies
  3. New York Knicks
  4. Los Angeles Lakers
  5. Cleveland Cavaliers
  6. Phoenix Suns
  7. Chicago Bulls
  8. Atlanta Hawks
  9. Washington Wizards
  10. Atlanta Hawks

GAME OF THRONES WON’T BE BACK UNTIL 2019

If you were looking forward to Game Of Thrones coming back this season, you are going to be highly disappointed. The number one watched HBO series won’t be returning until 2019. HBO officially announced what has been rumored almost since the end of last season. The final season will be just six episodes. How the show will manage to wrap up all of the loose ends in that time? Your guess is just as good as mine. But I expect a lot of deaths of some of our favorite, and not so favorite characters, Sersei Lannister, Jamie Lannister, Varis, The Hound, The Mountain, Bron (Tyrion Lannister’s friend), Samuel Tully, Milasandra (the red woman), and it wouldn’t be a real Game Of Thrones season until you had at least one Stark death. My guess is Sansa Stark. All of my death predictions are probably wrong…….but you can’t confirm that I’m wrong until 2019. By then you will probably forget all about my predictions. So, I guess I’m right……until 2019.
