Coweta County, GA
Rapper Boosie Badazz has been arrested after a traffic stop in Georgia. Boosie got released from prison in 2014. He completed his parole in 2018. Boosie has mostly stayed out of any type of trouble since his 2014 release from prison. Even though official charges usually sound a lot worse than the reality of what they really are, any time you add a pistol into the mix, things are usually all bad.
TMZ (@tmz) reported, Georgia court records show that Boosie and another man, identified as Antonio Allen, are currently being held in the Coweta County jail facing marijuana and possession of narcotics charges. Along with another charge for possession of a firearm. It’s not clear which man was in possession of the gun, but it looks like both were charged with it. Boosie and Allen were reportedly pulled over after a police officer allegedly witnessed the Dodge Charger the men were riding in, swerving in and out of traffic lanes. The officer reported that the Charger nearly sideswiped multiple other vehicles on the road. When the cop pulled the car over, he claimed that it had a strong odor of marijuana…. which I’m guessing gave them the excuse to search the car. Police say they found an unloaded 9mm handgun under the passenger seat. They also found a vape pen and a bag of cash. The gun was reportedly found under the passenger seat where Allen was sitting. But, like I said earlier, on record, both men have been charged with possession of a firearm. No word on bond amount or next court date at the moment.
HENRY COUNTY, GA
Rapper T.I was arrested while attempting to gain entry into the gated community he lives and owns a home in, during the early hours of Wednesday morning. USA Today (@USATODAY) reports, Henry County Deputy Police Chief, Mike Ireland said a security guard called police to Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, about 30 minutes southeast of Atlanta, around 4am. The security guard said that he’d allegedly been in an argument with T.I, who had lost his key. T.I was attempting to enter the gated community so he could return to the home he owns with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris and the couples’ children.
When the police arrived, T.I was arrested and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. He was booked and released on $2,250 bail. T.I’s lawyer, Steve Sadow said that T.I identified himself to the security guard and phoned his wife, waking her up from her sleep to have her confirm his identity to the security guard.
“The guard continued to refuse entry without justification. Words were exchanged and apparently, the guard and/or supervisor called the police. When the police arrived, they were not interested in hearing Tip’s side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting Tip.” T.I’s lawyer, Steve Sadow said in a statement to NBC affiliate 11Alive.
An Air National Guard plane crashed on a road in Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday, the US Air Force confirmed. Spokeswoman Ann Stefanek confirmed that the crash happened but provided no other immediate details.
CBS News (@CBSNews) reports, firefighters at the scene said on Twitter that the plane was a C-130.
Atlanta based rapper Ralo was arrested and charged with bringing hundreds of pounds of weed into the Atlanta Airport on a private plane, local news outlets reported. 23-year old Ralo, whose real name is Terrel Davis was charged with 2 counts of conspiracy to distribute weed.
The Miami Herald (@MiamiHerald) reports, The case goes back to December, when investigators say they tracked Ralo as he and associates flew to Cali and back on a chartered flight. Agents say they saw Ralo and other passengers unload 37 white-wrapped packages into a van once the plane landed, after which Ralo drove off in a separate van. The driver of the other van was pulled over for driving without having his headlights on, according to the affidavit. When police searched the van they found more than 500 pounds of weed worth more than $1 million.
Ralo, a heavy Instagram user, clearly had no idea that he was under investigation, or maybe he thought the 500 pound bust was a 1 time thing that wouldn’t have any connection at all to him. I don’t know, but Ralo continued to add self incriminating post to his Instagram page, including this one posted shortly after the 500 pounds of weed “L” he took back in December in California.
On the weekend of April 14th, investigators learned (probably from someone arrested in the Cali bust) that Ralo was flying back to Atlanta on another chartered flight from California. Police raided the plane when it landed at the Peachtree-Dekalb airport. Ralo and 8 other passengers were arrested. According to the affidavit, police had their police dogs along with them to help make the search for some strong smelling weed, a short one. Police searched the cargo area of the plane and found 440 pounds of marijuana worth a little more than $800,000, Fox 5 reported.
Ralo was originally charged with conspiracy to distribute weed. That likely would’ve been a very fightable charge……locally, Ralo’s problem was that a 500 pound bust in December followed by a 440 pound bust a few months later, and no telling how many trips in between that didn’t result in busts, is the kind of sh*t the FEDS love. They decided to pick up Ralo’s case. As of Thursday night, Ralo remained in Dekalb County Jail with no bail. The FEDS haven’t released what they will be charging Ralo with yet.
