SUGE KNIGHT PLEADS GUILTY TO VOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER. FACING 28-YEARS IN PRISON

LOS ANGELES, CA

Former Death Row co-founder, Suge Knight, is looking at, what’s known in jails and prisons across the country, as “football numbers”, after pleading guilty to a charge of manslaughter stemming from an incident that left one man dead.

Big Suge is looking down the barrel of a 28-year prison sentence when he goes back in front of a judge on October 4, to officially be sentenced. NBC News (@NBCNews) reports, Suge Knight’s latest legal troubles stem from a 2015 incident at a promotional shoot for the Straight Outta Compton movie. Knight ran over 2 men with his truck outside of Tam’s Burgers. Terry Carter, 55 and Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51 were plowed down as Knight recklessly reversed out of the parking lot. Carter died from his injuries. Sloan survived. Knight had originally argued that his life was in danger at the time and he had no intentions of running anyone over. Knight said Carter was a friend of his. Prosecutors argued otherwise. They say Knight had a confrontation with people affiliated with the movie earlier that same day, and had come back looking for trouble. On Thursday, Knight decided not to fight the case, and pled guilty to the manslaughter charge. He also requested a new attorney. When he goes back for sentencing in October, Knight will be represented by his fifteenth (15) different lawyer since this trial started.

At 53-years old, a 28-year prison sentence is something I don’t see Suge coming home from. 28-years is a long time….unless there’s some parole involved. If this in fact, the end of the line for Suge Knight, it is a very strange ending to a story that involved the man who played a huge role in arguably the best era of music hip-hop has ever seen. Not really a surprising ending, considering all of the dirt Suge was alleged to have done in his lifetime, but……strange.

WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE WHO NEEDS ENEMIES? FRIEND OF KEVIN HART CHARGED IN PLOT TO EXTORT THE COMEDIAN

LOS ANGELES, CA

A man has been charged in a plot to try to extort money from Kevin Hart. The man threatened to release a video of the Philly-born comedian engaged in sex and sexual acts with Monita Sabbag, the woman who Hart has been accused of cheating on his then pregnant wife with.

TMZ(@tmz) reported that the extortion-artist friend has been identified as 41-year old Jonathan Jackson. He and Hart has allegedly been friends for over 15 years. Jackson is accused of trying to extort an unknown amount of money from Hart in August, before he ultimately settled on going to a few gossip outlets in an attempt to sell the damaging video. Not only were Jackson and Hart friends, the two also appeared in movies together, which was likely of Hart’s doing in getting his friend a role in the 2014 movie “Think Like A Man Too.”

Jackson is currently behind bars on a $100,000 bail. Hopefully he can call his good friend Kevin Hart and ask for help with the bail money……..Oh that’s right! He already burned that bridge! SMH. Hart took to Twitter shortly after news broke about his one-time friend being arrested in the extortion plot against him.

WITNESS SAYS FOX NEWS HOST JUDGE JEANINE PIRRO HAD AFFAIR WITH COP WHO PROBED ROBERT DURST MURDER CASE

LOS ANGELES, CA

A murder trial took an unexpected turn on Wednesday, as testimony of an affair was uncovered. The murder trial was that of Robert Durst, the multi-millionaire New York real estate mogul. The trial took a turn from testimony of a murder, to testimony of a love affair involving popular Fox News host, Jeanine Pirro. This on the heels of another Fox News host (Sean Hannity) finding his name caught up in the middle of a federal investigation currently being conducted against Donald Trump attorney, Michael Cohen.

The New York Daily News (@NYDailyNews) reports, writer, Lisa Depaulo was called to the witness stand during a special pre-trial hearing and put on the spot about Pirro’s rumored romance with Cody Cazalas, the Texas homicide detective who investigated Durst for the 2001 death and dismemberment of neighbor Morris Black.

Did you become aware Detective Cazalas and Jeanine Pirro had a romantic relationship?” Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney John Lewin asked.

“Yes.” Depaulo replied.

“Did you inquire when that relationship started?” Lewin asked.

“She was vague.” Depaulo replied, referring to Pirro, who split with her husband in 2007.

Depaulo said she knew the two were lovers because she spent many nights at Pirro’s house while working on Pirro’s 2015 Durst book “He Killed Them All.” Depaulo testified that she watched them retire to the same bedroom.

Under cross-examination by Durst’s defense lawyer David Chesnoff, Depaulo was grilled about the alleged affair some more.

“Did Ms. Pirro have a picture of (Cazalas) in her house? Was it out on display?” Chesnoff asked.

“Yes, Pirro had a photo, but it was mostly kept in a drawer.” Depaulo replied.

“When she heard Cody was coming, she’d take the picture, and she’d put it out?” Chesnoff asked.

“Yes.” Depaulo replied.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the alleged romance became a hot topic at the hearing. Durst was arrested for Black’s murder in 2001. He later beat the charges, claiming self defense. Pirro and Cazalas ended up working side by side during the high-profile Texas case as New York officials reinvestigated the 1982 disappearance of Durst’s first wife, Kathie Durst and its possible connection to the 2000 murder of Durst’s friend Susan Berman in Los Angeles.

Durst, 75, is now fighting charges that he murdered Berman with an execution-style bullet to the back of her head. He has pleaded not guilty. Depaulo said she worked with Pirro on her book up until Pirro began pressuring her to include information she believed to be inaccurate. She eventually sued Pirro for breach of contract.
